GREEN BAY (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man was arrested Sunday afternoon after Green Bay police, SWAT team members, and the crisis negotiation team responded to a home near the 800 block of Columbia Avenue.
According to a release on Facebook, Green Bay Police says the 44-year-old ‘with a known weapons history’ was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after allegedly fleeing an attempted traffic stop near the area of Vroman Street and Mather Street on Friday.
Officials say the man was located around 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the home.
The SWAT Team and Crisis Negotiation Team responded and took the suspect into custody by 1:45 p.m.
