Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball adds a player through the portal

(LEARFIELD) -Wisconsin women’s basketball coach Robin Pingeton has added a shooter to the roster through the transfer portal.

Breauna Ware comes to the Badgers from Stony Brook University.

She started 25 games last year, averaging 14-point-7 points per game.

The 5-foot-7 guard from Queens, New York, led the Coastal Athletic Association’s championship game, a 76-75 loss to Hampton.

Ware was good on 34 percent of her 3-pointers last year.
