APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One of two men arrested for allegedly maintaining a drug trafficking place was ordered Friday to stand trial.
Ryan Hostettler, 20, enters a plea to the single count on September 4th, court records show.
His father, Jon Hostettler, 48, faces a preliminary hearing July 24 on a similar charge.
Police executed a search warrant at 1038 W. Spring Street last week, as part of what was described as a year-long investigation.
According to the criminal complaint, the overdose death of Cory Jordan in May is related to the address. One of Jordan’s friends told police “when Cory relapses on drugs he stays at Ryan Hostettler’s house,” the complaint states. Ryan Hostettler took Jordan to the hospital the night he died.
However, neither Hostettler – or anyone else – has been charged directly in connection with that incident.
