(WNFL) – University of Wisconsin and junior defenseman Wyatt Kalynuk has decided to not return for his final season of college eligibility with the Badgers hockey team.
Kalynuk signed a two-year deal with the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL and credited Mark Osiecki for his development.
Kalynuk explained why he decided to sign with Chicago.
He added that it was time.
Kalynuk’s deal is reported to be worth $1.8-million.
