TWO RIVERS, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A combined reward for tips in the disappearance of missing three-year-old Elijah Vue has risen to up to $40,000.
In a statement Monday, the Two Rivers Police Department said the total reward — which was previously set at $25,000 — had increased “thanks to additional funds raised by donations set up through the City of Two Rivers.” $15,000 is being offered by the FBI and $10,000 from the Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers.
Authorities say anyone who provides information leading to the discovery of Vue or the arrest and charging of the individual(s) responsible for his disappearance is eligible for the reward.
According to TRPD, law enforcement has been following up “on numerous tips and leads including reviewing and following up on the large amounts of video that have been submitted.” It comes after community members were asked to review surveillance camera footage from their homes or businesses captured on Feb. 19 between 2 and 9 p.m. for any sign of a vehicle believed to be connected to Vue’s case.
Two Rivers police are looking for anyone who may have seen this 1997 Nissan Altima, with Wisconsin license plates beginning with A and ending with 0, on Feb. 19, 2024, in connection with the disappearance of Elijah Vue the next day.
Police are in possession of the vehicle in question — a 1997 four-door beige Nissan Altima with a Wisconsin license plate beginning with the letter ‘A’ and ending with the number zero (0). TRPD has not said why the vehicle is a part of the investigation, only that their interest is not with the current owner.

Tuesday will mark three weeks since Vue became the subject of an Amber Alert after he was reported missing from Two Rivers. His mother, Katrina Baur, and her boyfriend, Jesse Vang, have both been jailed on charges of child neglect. Prosecutors allege Vue was staying at Vang’s home in Two Rivers for “disciplinary reasons” when he disappeared.
Vue is described as having dark blonde hair and brown eyes. He is about three feet tall, weighs about 45 pounds and has a birth mark on his left knee.
