NEW YORK, NY (WTAQ) – Two days after the Milwaukee Bucks knocked off the New York Knicks 130-111 for their seventh straight victory, the Knickerbockers got payback on Christmas Day by beating Milwaukee 129-122 at at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks played with the lead almost from the outset and they were led by Jaylen Brunson who poured in 38 points. The Bucks tried to rally late in the 4th quarter but came no close than 6 points in the closing minutes.
Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo each put up 32 points with Giannis also pulling down 13 rebounds.
The Bucks drop to 22-8 on the year and they’ll stay in the Big Apple for a date with the Nets in Brooklyn on Wednesday night.
