OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The site of an Oshkosh school that will close in spring is for sale.
The Oshkosh Area School District is accepting proposals to purchase and develop the Washington Elementary School site, located at 929 Washington Avenue.
The school will close at the end of the 2023-2024 school year, with Oshkosh’s new Menominee Elementary School set to open for the 2024-2025 school year.
The request for proposal (RFP) can be found online.
Purchase proposals must be hand-delivered or mailed directly to the Oshkosh Area School District Administration Office and must be received no later than December 21, 2023 at 3 p.m.
The Washington Elementary School site will be open for inspection on Friday, Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. until noon.
The winning proposal is expected to be announced by January 25, 2024.
