Three Facts & A Fib – Wed. 10/11: “The Jetsons” Theme Song / Dunking Your Donut Inventor / Dr. Seuss’s License Plate

Three of the following are FACTS…one is a FIB (scroll down to find out which one!)

1.  Even sign language has “tongue twisters.”  In ASL, they’re referred to as “finger fumblers,” but the idea is the same . . . a word or phrase that’s difficult to articulate without getting tripped up.  (Here are some examples.)

2.  The theme song from “The Jetsons” made it to #9 on the Billboard charts in 1986.

3.  The person who invented dunking your donut in coffee was a silent film star named Mae Murray.  She dropped her donut in coffee in the 1920s, liked the taste, and started spreading the word.

4.  Dr. Seuss’s license plate was “GRNEGGS.”
