CASCO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Liquid manure spilled onto a downtown street in Casco Thursday morning.
The Kewaunee County Conservation Department says the spill of 200-300 gallons happened around 7 a.m. on Main Street near Highway C.
Authorities say a valve on the truck hauling the manure malfunctioned as it made a turn.
No waterways or wells were impacted and the manure did not get into the storm system.
The spill was cleaned up around 11 a.m.
