APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — There are hundreds of volunteer openings for this year’s Octoberfest and License to Cruise.
The events on College Avenue in downtown Appleton are set for Sept. 29 and 30.
The Octoberfest Committee says it needs nearly 800 volunteers for the events. The most critical needs are for bartenders, bar managers and block captains. Volunteers must be at least 21 and, if managing a bar, need to have a bartending license.
