An extra day will help. Milwaukee Bucks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer said on Monday that an MRI came back clean on Giannis Antetokounmpo. He suffered a back contusion after taking a nasty fall on the floor in the first quarter of Milwaukee’s 130-117 playoff opening loss to the Miami Heat Sunday at Fiserv Forum. Budenholzer is still holding out hope Giannis will be available for game two on Wednesday night in Milwaukee. Another day of rest and treatment will give the team a better answer before game time. On a drive to the lane, Antetokounmpo got bumped by Miami’s Kevin Love and after twisting in mid-air, landed on the small of his back. After a minute on the floor, he attempted his free throws but left the game until the start of the second quarter. He gave it a couple more minutes but was unable to finish. The second game of the series tips off at 8:00 PM Wednesday night before the opening round moves to Miami for games three and four.
