GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Nicole Skenandore was charged Friday with allegedly providing the drugs Shaunice King overdosed on in February 2022.
Skenandore, 33, is charged with one count of first-degree reckless homicide. An initial court appearance is scheduled for Friday afternoon.
According to the criminal complaint, first responders were sent to a room on Commanche Avenue in Ashwaubenon on Feb. 24, 2022 for an unresponsive female. Life-saving efforts, including a dose of naloxone, were administered but without success.
An autopsy report determined King died of “an acute intoxication due to the combined effects of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and amphetamine,” the complaint states.
Phone records and security video connected Skenandore as being the one who provided King with the drugs, according to the complaint.
There are no comments from Skenandore quoted in the complaint.
