APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Outagamie County is investing in its employees’ health with a new clinic.
The county partnered with QuadMed to open the Outagamie County Employee & Family Clinic Tuesday.
This clinic will be available for free to all county employees and their eligible family members.
It offers the flexibility for employees and their families to obtain on-site, same-day primary care.
Outagamie County executive Tom Nelson says this clinic was 10 years in the making driven by the employees themselves.
“A healthy workforce is a happy workforce and a happy workforce is a productive workforce,” he said.
President of QuadMed, Kathryn Quadracci Flores, MD, says the availability of affordable and accessible health care is now a reality for Outagamie County employees.
“Working in partnership with the county, our goal is to give employees and their families, the exceptional, frictionless, coordinated health care experience they deserve while helping control the health care spending, hitting both the county but more importantly, its workers’ wallets,” she said.
On Tuesday, employees toured the new space and met their medical health care team.
