GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — For more than a century, hundreds of women artists have been part of the Green Bay Art Colony. This month, Women’s History Month, you can celebrate local female artists by visiting the 108th Green Bay Art Colony Exhibition at the Neville Public Museum. It runs now through March 26, 2023.
“Women are an influential part of the art community but have often been marginalized and excluded,” says Executive Director Beth Kowalski. “The Neville’s permanent art collection contains over 300 works of art created by women.”
Kowalski says the Green Bay Art Colony aims to inspire each other, educate the public, encourage new artists, and give scholarships to art students.
The Neville Public Museum is located at 210 Museum Place in downtown Green Bay. For more information, call (920) 448-4460.
