DOOR COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Law enforcement is looking for information after a string of vehicles were stolen overnight Monday in Door County.
The Sturgeon Bay Police Department announced Tuesday that it was investigating a series of stolen vehicles with the Door County Sheriff’s Office.
Police say the stolen vehicles were taken from residences throughout the Sturgeon Bay area.
The department did not specify how many cars were stolen but said that three of the stolen vehicles were found crashed. Also, each of the stolen vehicles had the keys inside.
The police are interested in viewing footage from the following locations:
- 200 block of S. 18th Avenue
- 10 block of W. Pine Street
- 1400 block of Georgia Street
- 2600 block of County U
Police are encouraging the public to lock their vehicles and not to leave belongings inside their unoccupied cars.
