Three Facts & A Fib – Fri. 1/6: Meaning of Sparkling Stars / World’s Longest Career / Songs Stuck at #2 Longest

Three of the following are FACTS…one is a FIB (scroll down to find out which one!) 

1.  If stars in the night sky are sparkling, it’s a sign of atmospheric turbulence.

2.  Chocolate ice cream was invented before vanilla ice cream.

3.  The world record for the longest career at the same company is over 84 years.  A guy in Brazil started working at a textile company when he was 15 years old . . . and he’s apparently still there now, at age 100.

4.  There are only two songs that spent at least 10 weeks at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart without ever making it to number one:  Foreigner’s “Waiting for a Girl Like You” and Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”.
