GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — There’s a new opportunity for those looking to mentor youth in the Green Bay community.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin and Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay are teaming up to create The Big Club. This mentoring initiative pairs volunteer mentors, or “Bigs,” with children who need positive role models, or “Littles.” Bigs and Littles will meet in small groups twice a month for one-hour sessions at the Boys & Girls Club.
Organizers hope to create new opportunities for volunteers who prefer to meet in group settings as opposed to one-on-one, and also for those who have different schedules, such as college students.
Visit Big Brothers Big Sisters’ website for more information on requirements and to apply.
