APPLETON, WI (WTAQ) — Valley Transit will be hosting an event to showcase the proposed plan for the new Downtown Appleton Transit Center on Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 3 – 5:30 p.m. at the Transit Center, located at 100 E. Washington Street in Appleton.
The purpose of this event is to gather feedback from the community regarding the proposal. The feedback gathered will be used in guiding future decisions for the next phase of the project.
In speaking of the project, Ron McDonald, Valley Transit general manager, said “I fully anticipate you’ll see a transit center with a drive through bus station on the first floor, and a multi level facility with housing up above.”
