1. An eight-year-old kid in Missouri named Kason Johnson lost hold of his birthday balloons he got at school two weeks ago, and they floated off. So he was upset. But then a guy 500 miles away in Tennessee found them.
His name is Todd Huyler, and they still had a card attached. So he figured out where Kason’s school was and sent him a bunch of gifts, along with a HUNDRED BUCKS. He also sent presents to Kason’s teacher. (Here’s a photo.)
It was Kason Johnson's 8th birthday. As he was walking with his mother to the family car, he suffered an all-too-common accident many people experience around his age: he lost his balloons.https://t.co/DHTQyFZkoH

2. The largest pumpkin in U.S. history is now the world’s biggest jack-o-lantern.
A guy in Minnesota grew it. It weighed in at 2,560 pounds earlier this month. He had it carved on Friday and went patriotic with it. An artist carved the face of a bald eagle into the front.
