First, let me say this up front… I did not hate the Ghostbuster reboot that came out. Obviously it was a VERY different take on the original movies. But, for what it was, I enjoyed myself.
Now… the BIG news! There has been a secret Ghostbusters movie in the works for awhile, and unlike the reboot, this was is set in the SAME universe as the original movie!!! Even better, the original man behind Ghostbusters, Ivan Reitman… will be happy to know that is son Jason will be taking the helm!
Now, for years, Jason has tried to distance himself from his father and carve out his own success, which he has with movies like “Up In The Air”, and “Juno”. Up until about a year ago though, he would publicly state that he was the LAST person who should ever make a Ghostbusters movies.
That all changed a few months ago when he got an idea, approached his father, and they both agreed to get the ball rolling on a secret Ghostbusters movies. Two things we know, the movie is due out in Summer 2020, and the FIRST teaser trailer is here. I LOVE IT!
