This story is another great example of why I just don’t agree with people who say the “next generation” of people in the world are ‘trouble.’
Case-and-point: A woman in Canada was stranded on the side of the road one late night recently when her engine stopped and started emitting smoke.
A group of 3 teenage boys, who also all happened to be car enthusiasts, come upon the woman on their way for a late-night coffee. The boys were eager to help and after looking under the hood, they determined that she needed a new engine and advised her not to drive the car anymore for safety reasons.
Still being about 4 miles from home and with no money to afford a tow, the woman was visibly upset – so that’s when the young men stepped up – BIG time.
They told her they would simply PUSH her car home for her. And they did. It took over 2 HOURS to push it home – and another good samaratain who came across them did the “fatherly” thing and slowly drove behind them with his flashers on to keep them safe.
Arriving at the woman’s home at 4am the teenagers joked about how good of a workout it was and that they just wanted to help – plus it would make a good story to tell 10 years from now.
After their effort, a picture of them after their good deed went viral and people have sent them many thanks and even gifts!
