OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The growing popularity of pickleball is causing an Oshkosh facility to change its name.
The Oshkosh Y Tennis Center on County Road Y will now be the Oshkosh Y Tennis & Pickleball Center.
In addition to its new name, the facility also has newly resurfaced courts.
Later this month, the Oshkosh Y Tennis & Pickleball Center will hold a community open house for everyone to enjoy the facility.
The open house, from Aug. 22 – Aug. 25, comes before its fall programming so individuals can get a feel for all the facility has to offer.
Open house will wrap up with a free Kids Carnival on Thursday, Aug. 25 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
