NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying suspects from a disturbance earlier this month at the Peppermint Hippo, a topless gentlemen’s club in Neenah.
Multiple people entered with semi-automatic handguns and later fled, according to the initial caller.
A witness reported that guns were pulled out after a large group of people got into a verbal argument. Two males allegedly pulled out firearms and fled the scene with their group in a vehicle.
No shots were fired in this incident.
The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Green Valley Road. It is described as a black or darker blue Generation 3 Chevrolet Equinox. The plates appeared to be from out of state.
Upon investigation, officials believe that four of the suspects involved were likely armed.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying the five suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Randy Woldt at (920) 236-7368.
