ALLOUEZ, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Four people are now displaced after an early morning house fire.
Green Bay Metro fire crews were called to a home at the intersection of Memory Court and Libal Street shortly after 3:30 Friday morning.
When they arrived, crews saw fire coming from the roof with a downed tree near the back of the home. That tree had fallen during Wednesday’s storm and took powerlines down.
The live power lines made it more difficult to battle the flames.
Fire crews prevented the fire from spreading while Wisconsin Public Service deenergized the lines.
No one was home during the fire, and no injuries were reported.
A cause has not been determined, but officials estimate roughly $60,000 in damage.
