3 Facts & A Fib: DiMaggio Hitting Streak / Years of World Peace / Donald’s Duck’s Middle Name

Three of the following statements are TRUE…one is a FIB! (scroll down to find out which one)

1.  Joe DiMaggio has the longest hitting streak in Major League Baseball history at 56 games.  Tied for 16th on the list is his little brother Dom DiMaggio at 34 games.  Dom played 11 seasons for the Boston Red Sox, and was nicknamed “The Little Professor” because he had a small build and wore glasses.

2.  The first Walmart, Target, Kmart, AND Kohl’s stores all opened in 1962.

3.  In the past 3,500 years, there have only been approximately 230 years of world peace.  In other words, there’s been at least one war going on for 93% of human history.

4.  Donald Duck’s middle name is Fillmore.
