GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — COVID-19 numbers are up again in Brown County.
Health officials say that that activity levels in the county have risen from “low” to “medium”. Health Officer Anna Nick says it’s not quite time to get the masks back out, though.
“You should get up to date on your vaccines,” said Nick. “If you do have symptoms, get tested, and stay home.”
Nick says it’s not quite time to get the masks back out.
“If you’re immunocompromised, consider wearing a mask around other people,” Nick told WTAQ. “You could consider wearing a mask in indoor spaces, but right now they’re not required or recommended for overall use.”
The medium activity level, according to means that more than 10 but less than 20 people per 100,000 in the community are being admitted to the hospital with COVID-19.
While cases are rising, deaths still remain low with the seven day statewide average at four.
