ST. NAZIANZ, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A man was taken into custody after making threats toward Manitowoc County deputies.
Authorities responded to the United Ministries Christian Center apartments in the Village of St. Nazianz Wednesday for a disturbance call.
The 51-year-old man who initially asked deputies to respond, began making firearm threats to deputies on scene.
For safety precautions, the sheriff’s office armored vehicle responded to the scene. Others on the property were either temporarily relocated or sheltered in place until the situation could be resolved.
The man ultimately cooperated with the deputy’s request to exit the apartment and he was subsequently arrested.
No firearms were located and no one was hurt.
