GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — After a week that saw no less than three online threats of deadly violence, the principal of Preble High School is stepping down.
In a letter sent to families, the Green Bay Area Public School District says Natasha Rowell submitted her resignation, effective immediately. The decision is “for reasons which include addressing personal health needs,” the letter says.
Rowell has served as Preble High School’s principal since 2010. She remains a parent at the school, meaning her ties with the school’s community will continue, according to the letter.
The district will begin the process of hiring a principal for the 2022-23 academic year in the coming weeks.
