(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Brewers dropped their first game against the Royals with a 5-2 loss in Milwaukee.
Manny Pina plated both runs.
Hunter Strickland suffered the loss after giving up two runs including the decisive home run to pinch hitter Ryan O’Hearn in one-and-two-third innings.
Brewers manager Craig Counsell on Strickland who served up a 2 run home run to O’Hearn in the 7th.
Counsell said they just didn’t do enough against Royals starter Mike Minor.
Minor pitched 6 innings for the Royals, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and 1 walk.
The series wraps up today.
