SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Allen Ortiz-Corporan waived a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty Monday in connection with a January stabbing.
No trial date was set for the ten charges, including attempted first-degree intentional homicide. A final pre-trial conference is scheduled for Sept. 30, court records show.
According to the criminal complaint, Ortiz-Corporan broke into his ex-girlfriend’s home at about 4 a.m on Jan. 18. Police arrived, and found him in the house. The woman had been stabbed in the stomach and back.
