1:45 FeelGood Stories: Man Surprised By Dog Reunion / Boys Save Turtles / Pool Helps Man’s Loneliness

1.  A guy and his wife moved from South Africa to the U.K., and had to wait 10 months to get their dog sent over.  Now a video of them picking her up is going viral, because the husband didn’t KNOW about it.  His wife kept it a secret until they pulled into the parking lot.  (Part One has a few F-bombs, and Part Two is the reunion.)

2.  Five kids in Iowa found out about a road near a lake that turtles like to cross in the summer.  And because of traffic, not all the turtles make it across.  So the kids . . . all boys between 8 and 10 years old . . . have been going there each day to make sure they get across safely.  They’ve saved almost 200 turtles so far this year.

3.  A 93-year-old retired judge in Minnesota lost his wife of 66 years back in 2016.   Experiencing a lot of loneliness and sadness, he had an idea:  he had a large swimming pool installed in his backyard and invited the neighborhood kids to come swimming whenever they want.

Since then, he’s sat beside the pool for countless hours on warm Summer days.  and not only watched the kids play and have fun, but have met some very special neighbors who have embraced him as he’s become somewhat of a neighborhood celebrity and his long days of loneliness are behind him.
