GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Muhammed Hoskins was convicted Wednesday for a shooting near Seymour Park.
Hoskins, 27, pleaded no contest to first-degree recklessly endangering safety, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and second-degree reckless recklessly endangering safety, while four other counts were dismissed, court records show. He had been charged with attempted homicide.
Sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 27.
Police were called to South Oakland Ave. near Seymour Park around 11 p.m. on May 22, 2020, for a report of a shooting. During the incident one individual was shot in the leg and sustained a serious injury resulting in his hospitalization.
According to the criminal complaint, Hoskins’ brother was involved in a fight. Hoskins arrived at the scene, and shot a man in the leg, witnesses told police.
