KESHENA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three Menominee Nation officials have been suspended and are under investigation, the tribe’s legislature says.
In a statement, the legislature says it issued suspensions last Thursday to the tribal administrator, human resources director and administrative planner. The suspensions are based on a series of facts that have become known in the past few weeks, the statement reads.
The legislature has ordered internal investigations. Once they are complete, the legislature will review findings for any additional action.
The employees are on paid suspensions.
