(METRO/LEARFIELD) – The Brewers split the two-game series with the Tigers after a 10-7 loss in Milwaukee.
Kolten Wong and Tyrone Taylor had two-homer nights.
Brewers manager Craig Counsell talked about Taylor’s two home runs, given that Taylor had just been recalled from Nashville to replace the injured Lorenzo Cain on the roster.
Luis Urias smacked his sixth home run.
Eric Lauer suffered the loss after giving up seven runs in the first two innings.
Lauer spoke about what was going on with his outing.
About the only thing that went well from a pitching point for the Brewers was 5 innings of great relief work by Adrian Houser.
Wong talked about how Houser gave the Brewers a chance.
The Brewers host Arizona starting tomorrow.
