GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — There will be fireworks this Fourth of July in Green Bay.
Mayor Eric Genrich on Tuesday says visitors can expect the show this year to look like before the COVID-19 pandemic..
“We know what the CDC has said about vaccinations,” Genrich told WTAQ. “We know the course of this virus. We feel really good about having events, especially when they’re outdoors.”
That means that masks won’t be required, and neither will social distancing.
The CDC recommends those that have not been vaccinated, however, continue to wear masks and stay six feet apart.
Last year the event was canceled.
