(WNFL) – Former Wisconsin Badgers running back Melvin Gordon is now a former San Diego Chargers running back.
On Friday, Gordon signed with the AFC West’s Denver Broncos for two years.
The contract is worth $16.5-million with $14-million guaranteed.
Gordon held out last season with the Chargers who had offered him $10-million when he was holding out.
Gordon carried the ball 162 times for 612 yards and eight touchdowns. He caught 42 passes for 296 yards.
In 2018, Gordon rushed for 885 yards on 175 carries and 10 touchdowns and caught 50 passes for 490 yards.
