GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The man who allegedly exchanged gunfire with an Oneida Tribal Police Dept. officer is likely to face a charge of attempted first-degree intentional homicide, a prosecutor said Monday.
Carl King, 30, appeared in court for a bail hearing, but formal charges have not been filed.
Bond was set at $100,000 cash. King returns to court March 9 for an initial appearance.
According to the state Dept. of Justice, King drove to the tribal police offices on Feb. 21. He exchanged gunfire with Officer Dakota Oskey. Oskey was not injured, but King was hospitalized for several days.
