(WNFL/LEARFIELD) – The Wisconsin Badgers are now 15-8 overall following last night’s 77-62 loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes in Madison.
Luke Garza led the Hawkeyes with 30 points on 11-of-19 shooting including 4-of-6 from 3-point range.
Badgers coach Greg Gard said that Garza is hard to contain.
The Badgers’ Micah Potter said they didn’t defend Garza very well, especially on his 3s.
Potter led the Badgers with 23 points while Brad Davison added 15.
The Badgers despite a bevy of offensive rebounds only managed 4 second-chance points and missed 13-of-17 layups.
Potter talked about all those misfires.
The Badgers will play Northwestern on Sunday.
