GRAND CHUTE, WI (WTAQ) — They’re still looking for the man who shot and killed another man on Sunday at the Fox River Mall in Grand Chute.
Grand Chute Officer Travis Waas was on WTAQ’s ‘The Morning News with Matt and Earl’ says 17-year-old Dezmin Ellis is to be considered armed and dangerous.
“You know, when you have an individual who has already shown disregard for human life,” Waas explained, “It’s not only important that the public be made aware of this information but imperative that he’s located and taken into custody.”
A car linked to Ellis was found at a home in Oshkosh Monday. Four people were arrested at that home after they got combative with officers but none of them were Ellis.
Police obtained that information through a tip from the public.
Those tips are still flowing in.
“I can’t give out any information that may jeopardize the work that our investigators are doing, but there are definitely leads that we are currently following up on,” Waas said.
The shooting, which killed 19-year-old Jovanni Frausto and injured 20-year-old Colt Lemmers, is believed to have been a targeted incident.
