MENOMINEE FALLS, WI (WTAQ) — The Trumps are back in Wisconsin. Ivanka Trump, the President’s daughter, is heading to the state tomorrow to hold an event in Hillbert. Eric Trump, the President’s son, is in Menominee Falls Monday.
“We’re all over the place,” the younger Trump told WTAQ’s ‘The Regular Joe Show’ on Monday. “My father will be back here very, very soon. It’s a team effort.”
President Donald Trump was expected to come to Green Bay on October 3rd before his visit was called off in the wake of his COVID-19 diagnosis.
Eric Trump believes the polls aren’t telling the whole story.
“We have more enthusiasm than we’ve ever had before,” said Trump. “And there are a lot of people afraid to talk about who they’re voting for.”
Most polls have consistently shown former Vice President and Democratic Presidential Candidate Joe Biden ahead of Trump in Wisconsin by several points, but still well within striking distance for the President. Some research shows that Trump voters are more hesitant to answer polls than Biden voters.
“Let them do this, let them say that we’re down, I want to be behind,” Trump told host Joe Giganti. “I truly believe in my heart of hearts that we’re going to win this thing.”
Eric Trump also made a stop in Milton on Monday.
