(LEARFIELD) – Manager Pat Murphy confirms that NL Cy Young Award favorite Jacob Misiorowski will be the Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher for the first playoff game.
The contest will be played Saturday in Milwaukee against the winner of the Cubs-Padres series.
The Miz will be followed in the second game by 24-year-old right-hander Logan Henderson who had a breakout campaign.
Henderson compiled an 11-and-3 record with an ERA of 2.47.
Murphy says no decision has been made about keeping righty Dustin May in the postseason rotation yet.
Murphy talked about the conversation he has with the guys that did and didn’t make the first round playoff roster.
