OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The suspect in a driveway asphalt scam case pleaded not guilty Tuesday in one of the counties he faces charges in.
No trial date was set Tuesday for Mico Miller in Winnebago County. He returns to court Nov. 10 for a status conference on two counts of theft, court records show.
Miller also faces charges in Waupaca, Shawano and Brown counties.
In the Brown County cases, prosecutors allege Miller showed up at people’s homes unsolicited, offering to reseal their driveway. After getting an initial payment in cash — $3,000 in one case — Miller stopped work part-way through and then demanded additional payments. Miller’s actions were allegedly similar in the other cases, as well.
