(LEARFIELD/WNFL) – A sacrifice fly by Cincinnati Reds catcher Tyler Stephenson knocked in the winning run in Sunday’s 4-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
Milwaukee had jumped to a 2-0 lead in the second inning.
After scoring 33 runs in the first two games of the series, the Brewers were held to six hits.
Jake Bauers and Joseph Ortiz hit homers.
Brewers starting pitcher Robert Gasser allowed 1 run on 3 hits and a walk over 5 innings and talked about his season.

Antonio Senzatela allowed a pair of runs in relief while Abner Uribe took the loss in relief after giving up a run in the eighth.

Milwaukee is off today, then starts a three-game set in Pittsburgh Tuesday.
The Milwaukee Brewers led the National League Central Division by 10 games over the Chicago Cubs with 12 games left to play.
They have a 2 1/2 game lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers and a 5-game lead over the Atlanta Braves in the race for the top seed in the National League playoffs.
