TOWN OF TWO RIVERS (WTAQ-WLUK) — A motorcyclist died after losing control on a curve in Manitowoc County.
Just before 6 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to the area of the 6000 block of Johnston Drive in the town of Two Rivers for a report of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash.
A 23-year-old Manitowoc man was found deceased.
Preliminary information indicates the motorcycle was going north on Johnston Drive when it approached the curve north of Woodland Drive and continued straight, going northeast into a heavily wooded area.
Johnston Drive was closed when the crash was investigated and was reopened just before 8 p.m.
This incident remains under investigation.
