Assistant professor of philosophy at St. Norbert College, Ben Chan, appears on Jeopardy! PC: Fox 11 Online
APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Northeast Wisconsin’s best-known “Jeopardy!” champion has a new job.
Ben Chan is now teaching at Lawrence University, the school announced.
Chan was a philosophy professor at St. Norbert College, but the college dropped that program as part of larger cuts.
According to Lawrence, Chan taught there from 2011-13 and again as a visiting professor last academic year.
Now an associate professor at Lawrence, Chan is expected to study and teach biomedical ethics, ethics of technology, food ethics and “the good life.”
Chan was also a nine-time champion on “Jeopardy!” He was runner-up in the 2024 Tournament of Champions and competed in the “Jeopardy!” Invitational Tournament last year.
