DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A construction worker was killed in a crash Monday night on Interstate 41.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says the crash happened just after 11:30 p.m. on I-41 at Scheuring Road.
A 53-year-old Menasha man was driving a semi south on the interstate when he hit a forklift being operated within a construction zone. The forklift operator, a 26-year-old man from Chilton, suffered fatal injuries.
The semi driver was not injured.
Investigators have not released the names of the people involved in the crash.
