(WNFL) – A variety of sources indicate the Milwaukee Brewers are acquiring pitchers Dustin May and Jo Jo Romero from the St. Louis Cardinals in exchange for minor leaguers Alexander Frias and Josiah Ragsdale.
May has a 5-7 record with a 4.38 ERA this season.
Romero is 1-3 with a 3.55 ERA in 44 games.
Frias and Ragsdale are the No. 11 and 13 prospects in the Milwaukee Brewers farm system.
Frias, an outfielder, is batting .236 with 4 homeruns and 28 RBI the Brewers’ Wilson farm team in the Carolina League.
Ragsdale was batting .327 for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers before being promoted to Double A Biloxi where he is batting .292.
