$200,000 grant aims to bring out-of-state residents to fill Brown County health jobs

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A state grant aims to bring out-of-state residents to fill Brown County healthcare jobs.

The $200,000 Talent Recruitment Grant from the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will be put into action by Heroes for Healthcare, Brown County, Emplify Health by Bellin, and Aurora Health Care.

Following a community health assessment last year, Brown County officials identified three areas of focus to improve the community’s overall health: mental health and substance use, healthy and safe homes and pathways to healthcare.
