The Green Bay Packers are officially celebrating the 20th season of Operation Fan Mail, a long-running program designed to honor military personnel and their loved ones on gameday at Lambeau Field. First launched in 2007, the initiative has saluted a total of 226 military families, placing them directly in the pregame spotlight on the stadium’s giant video boards.
“We’re proud to celebrate 20 years of Operation Fan Mail, a program that reflects our deep gratitude for the men and women who have served our country and the families who have supported them,” said Packers President and CEO Ed Policy.
For every Packers home game, one selected family receives four game tickets provided by Network Health along with on-field recognition. To participate, the Packers are inviting fans to submit a short essay of 500 words or less detailing why a specific active-duty service member or veteran—whether a spouse, parent, child, or sibling—deserves to be recognized. Nominations can be submitted online or mailed directly to Operation Fan Mail in Green Bay (P.O. Box 10628, Green Bay, WI, 54307-0628).
