APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Neenah man is facing charges for his fourth operating while intoxicated offense.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a trooper was driving through Appleton when they noticed a vehicle traveling with several equipment and registration violations.
A traffic stop was executed at approximately 12:05 a.m. Monday near the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Linwood Avenue. When the trooper made contact with the vehicle’s driver, “the trooper observed signs of impairment, as well as open intoxicants inside of the vehicle.”
Upon further investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for operating while impaired. An evidentiary blood draw was conducted, and those results are still pending.
WSP identified the driver as Ezekiel Williams, 37, of Neenah. He is being held at the Outagamie County Jail for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, fourth offense.
